WORLD AQUACULTURE '99
- ASICo would like to thank everyone
from John Cooksey and his WAS staff to "The Center" convention center
services staff to Ozaccom who made our stay in Sydney smooth sailing. We made a
terrific splash at Darling Harbor in Sydney by introducing the advent of commercially
viable programs in microsatellite (marker) technology not only for shrimp but spanning the
entire aquaculture spectrum from finfish to bivalves as well.
We would also like to thank all of you who
came out to see us and who were able to join us at our reception
overlooking Darling Harbor. It was great to see all our friends we rarely get to see
face to face and also great to make the new acquaintances we did. We thank you for
you interest in ASICo and the new groundwork we have laid with regards to genetics and
working towards improving the bottom line for hatcheries and farms alike around the world
with the most cutting edge technologies available.
Next year is Nice, France. Be
sure to start planning early as this will be a show to remember. We will be
providing links and more travel information to help plan your trip so keep an eye on this
